I have been trying to get the GPS working, but it is still not. I did have some luck a few weeks ago, but it seems now that the actual unit is no longer working. Is there a way to test it?

Checked your previous posts- looks like I missed the last one. We should be able to help a bit with power consumption, but before that, please try the latest https://codebender.cc/sketch:60928 directly from codebender without an SD card at both baud rates indicated- you should see some sort of output in the serial monitor. Let me know what you see, hopefully we can figure out something from the output.
