I'm working some black and white video and it appears that though the display is functioning, it's not quite as bright for what I need.

Is there a way to adjust this within a sketch using Arduino?

I'm currently running the TinyScreenVideoKit_RepeatVideo sketch (for reference).

Any tips appreciated. What I'm looking to accomplish doesn't work if the brightness is not high enough (the video appears brighter elsewhere as usual).

Okay, so I found a means to adjust the brightness.

This is what I'm using to do it. The only trouble now is that I can't get the brightness level to save, when I go to reactivate a previous sketch, as it powers off for a moment in between. How do I get my brightness setting to stay where I need it?
