Screen stuck on 'Finding SD card...'

Hi everyone.  I kickstarted the Tiny Arcade last year and received it in the post yesterday.  I built and assembled it, and decided to put the TinyArcadeAllGames.zip collection of games onto it.  I noticed from another thread that I need to update the "firmware" for the menu.  I followed the link and the instructions and updated the "firmware", which resulted in the inbuilt games to disappear.  I placed the zip file onto a 2GB Micro SD card, plugged the card into the arcade, powered on in the hopes of playing some other games... just to have the screen stuck on "Finding SD card..." with absolutely no movement...

Please can someone help me?

That sounds like it found the SD card but could not find valid game files- did you unzip to the main directory of the SD card? You should be seeing the game folders listed in the main directory with a few files inside each.
