Tiny Arcade & Pocket Arcade / CHARGING/AUDIO ISSUES?

I have an original Kickstarter unit that now seems to be having issues.

It works when plugged into USB, but doesn't seem to charge, even when left overnight. Also, no audio comes out of the speaker, no matter what level the volume knob is at.

Thoughts?

Can you let me know what operating system and Arduino version you're using?

I'm using Arduino 1.6.10 on Mac OSX 10.11.5. Thanks!

Tiny Arcade & Pocket Arcade / BLACK LINE ACROSS DISPLAY / COMPILING ERRORS

My Tiny Arcade just arrived, but there is a prominent black line across the display.

I tried connecting it to my Mac via USB and followed the Arduino instructions for setup to see if that might fix it; I downloaded the "TinyScreenBasicExample" and successfully got it to upload to the unit, but can't seem to load the latest Menu or Games, which give me errors upon compiling (so it's now stuck on the Basic Example loop).
