Hi there!

I'd like to use my TinyTV2 to show the album art from Youtube Music when playing in the background by steaming the fullscreen window, but whenever the TinyTV2 is showing a static image it will flicker back to whatever video would normally be playing locally. If the Youtube chrome window is playing a video or anything else dynamic the stream works OK, but if the image is static and not the currently-selected window (minimized or on another virtual desktop) then the flickering starts. As soon as I go back to the window or a video starts the issue goes away.

Wondering if there's anything I can do to keep the static album image streaming without the cut in from the local video.

Thanks!

I'll see if I can find any samples left. A workaround I found was converting all files in Handbrake to mp4 (no longer supports AVI output, unfortunately) then using the converter to convert again to the proper AVI format. A minor kludge but nothing terrible.

Thanks Ben! These parameters worked great, I converted a sample file both with the provided converter and a batch converter with the provided flags / arguments and got the same file outputs! This will save me a lot of time doing batch conversions.

TinyTV & Tiny Video Player / Parameters for ffmpeg conversion

I'd like to batch-convert some files using ffmpeg, which I believe is the backend to the TinyTV converter. Could someone share the parameters / arguments fed into ffmpeg to correctly generate the compatible AVI files?

Thanks in advance!

As asked in the subject, what causes some files to restart from the beginning when changing channels vs others "continuing" to play when the channel is changed to a different channel (I think this is TV Mode...)? I've converted a handful of files of various types using the TinyTV converter and only one of my files does the "continuous" playback, identical to how the videos included with the device performed. I really like the continuous playback feature and would like all my videos to do this, but I'm not sure what I need to do to make that happen.

Really liking this gadget, fun little idea with lots of functionality built in!
