Title: Powering the TinyDuino

I am still relatively new to the world of electronics in regards to voltage, amperage, etc. I have been using the arduino for about a year now, and was looking for something a little more unique, and this was the perfect thing. I bought the starter kit, and the LE bluetooth shield and decided that I was going to make a little quadrotor.

I obviously will not be able to power 4 pager motors at 3v and 18 mAh each with a single watch battery. I have been looking at different micro LiPo batteries and trying to figure out what I need.

Questions:

1. How kind of battery would I need to power these motors (Does it need to output 54mAh and 12v?)
2. where can I obtain said battery.
3. How would I recharge said  battery.
4. Could I power the tiny duino and Bluetooth LE module with it?

Add up each of your requirements for current.  For example, your 4 motors at 18ma each come to 72ma.  Once you get a total then decide long you want to run the device before the batteries run down.  That will give you your minimum milliamphour rating.  LiPo's in all sizes, capacity and shapes along with chargers and connectors are available at most any hobby story.

Just as an FYI for anyone who comes looking at this - there's a bit more to it than that.  Take into consideration the draw on your communications platform (BT), the very small draw from the arduino board itself, the draw from anything else (lights, camera, etc.).  Then add a nice buffer just in case.

The answer to your queries is here. The LiPo batteries are the best one to use in the projects on which you are working.
They have a wide range of the Current and Voltage, and it can easily meet your requirement. These are easily available. For the recharging purpose of these batteries they have the special charger.
And ofcourse you can power your TinyDuino and Bluetooth module with this battery.
