Hello
I killed my SD card (don't ask) :D
Bought a new one and loaded the .tsv video on it but the player does not recognize the card.
Does it have to be formatted in a special way?
Cheers

Hiya Thomas,
SD Cards need to be formatted to FAT32 to work with the TVs. There's a tool referenced here on our TinyTV FAQ, but it might only be usable with Windows: https://learn.tinycircuits.com/Kits/TinyTV-FAQ/#sd-card
I recommend google searching "format SD Card to FAT32 " along with your operating system "MacOS / Windows(7/8/10) / Linux" to find a tool that works for you.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
Cheers,

Thank you for your fast answer!
Unfortunately, it did nor work.
Are there any other files supposed to be on the card other than the .tsv video file?
Best

Hello Thomas,
If it's FAT32 and there are .tsv videos on it, they should play. Perhaps the SD Shield needs re-seated? https://learn.tinycircuits.com/Kits/TinyTV-FAQ/#sd-card
There are some other things to check for that can be advised on the FAQ: https://learn.tinycircuits.com/Kits/TinyTV-FAQ/#videos-not-playing
Let me know if that helps.
Cheers,

Ok, problem solved!
Looks like it was the capacity of the micro sd.
It did not work out with a 64GB version,
The 8GB replacement works just fine.
