Title: How to expand program storage space?
Post by: Biskitman on August 11, 2021, 02:22:56 PM
Hi,

I want to purchase lots of TinyShield boards to try and make a Rocket altimeter with GPS and radio communication, however even a simple example script for getting the pressure takes up 28% of the Tinyduino's program storage space. Is there anyway to expand this and run larger programs?

Thanks

Hello,

Yes, we have a few options for expanding memory space using TinyShields: https://tinycircuits.com/collections/memory

We have MicroSD, FRAM, Flash, SRAM, and EEPROM options so you can go with whatever works best for your project.

Thanks,
Réna

Hi,

How would I expand the program memory with it? I have the flash module but when it is installed and I try and upload a program, it still says that it cant be uploaded because its 102% of the space?

Thanks,
Bertie

Bertie,

Would you mind posting or direct messaging the program you're using? Or at least the error log?

It will help me help you debug if I can see what you're seeing. What hardware are you using?

Best,
Réna
