After selecting Arduino1.8.1 'Build for SD card' option for a sketch my TinyScreen+ is bricked :-(
(The 'default' option for this sketch did work flawless earlier..)
Holding button(s) when powerup solutions don't work here (Windows device manager doesn't show a new COM port anymore).
Do you know of other solutions for in-bricking, or must the chip reprogrammed now ?

The way I fix it was to do the following:
Don't have a battery attached
Plug into USB
Turn power off on the TinyScreen+
Hold down button nearest USB
Turn power on for the TinyScreen+
If I held down the button and just unplugged / plugged it in, it remained unresponsive for me too. The above steps worked (I rebricked it on purpose 3x and redid those steps to make sure I had them correct).
Credit to Beermat & Ben for pointing me in the right direction.

I tried this possible powerup solution too (several times), however this didn't fix it.. :(
