Title: New to Arduino TinyDuino Processor
Post by: Prajyot on August 23, 2016, 11:45:31 PM
I am trying to connect TinyDuino Processor ATMEGA 238P using USB shield to the laptop via USB cable but the FTDI 231X USB UART driver is not getting installed.I am using windows 7 64 bit. I tried to install manually but the driver manager is giving some 'code 37 error' and asks to look for solution by manufacture

Usually Windows 7 doesn't cause problems- can you try using the instructions on codebender.cc to try to get it working? https://codebender.cc/sketch:37438 The page should prompt you to install drivers and a plugin.

Thanks,
Ben

Thank you sir for the reply . I followed the link that you mentioned and created an account, installed the codebender plug-in,all drivers.I am using USB 2.0 compatible data cable but still I am facing the same problem of interfacing TinyDuino processor to the PC.

Are you hearing the normal Windows 7 sound when a USB device is plugged in when you plug in our USB TinyShield? Can you try another USB cable if not?
