Title: motors in the picture for:TINYSHIELD DUAL MOTOR
Post by: jaymzs on March 22, 2016, 01:56:20 PM
   Hello all,

What motors were used in the picture for the dual motor shield? Am I blind or is there no reference to them? I'm open to and small/lightweight motors I can use with the shield, smaller and more energy efficient the better. I'm not looking for high speed here, low speed is fine for what I intend to do with it. Anyone have any good suggestions?

Thanks,

- JamesZ

They're 6mm quadcopter motors in the pictures. Very much only good for their intended use- not very efficient, and extremely low torque/high speed.

Try searching for '12mm mini gearbox' on ebay or the web and you'll find some useful stuff. What you really want is a 6mm planetary gearbox motor- they're tough to source at a decent price, but we're working on that(slowly).

Thanks,
Ben
