Title: How do you know it's broken/short circuited
Post by: unoscooter on August 03, 2013, 03:30:47 AM
my tinylily use to be able to connect to my computer even though i usually had trouble connecting to the ide, i was still able to connect to the computer. i even tried on another computer but it couldn't even recognize that is was plugged in. so i think that it must be broken or has been short circuited in someway, being that it has no voltage regulator. my question is then, is there a way to see if the tinylily is broken or the usb cable is broken or if something else is going wrong??? or was it just faulty and needs to be exchanged?

Dose the USB chip get hot?
The USB chip is the FTDI chip on the USB board. (well,it's the only chip on that board)
