Title: Tinyshield bluetooth, bluetooth LE or wifi

I am currently working on a project that needs to send information to a computer once every 24 hours wirelessly.  Power consumption is the key because it needs to last at least 24 hours with a 5V watch battery.  Which board should I use to accomplish this?

Also, I have been having issues with connecting the bluetooth shield (non LE) to my macbook.  I see the bluetooth connection on my mac and pair the two together; however, after this is done, the signal goes away.  Is this due to the battery not powering the board?
