Title: Tinyduino power/support question
Post by: keninar on April 20, 2016, 12:27:03 PM
Stumbled onto Tinyduino last eve - quite literally by accident - and have become fascinated.  Currently working with arduino and have a couple of "transition" queries.
1.  Can the Tinyduino be powered by 2 alkaline AA batteries?
2.  Can the Tinyduino support a 4 digit 7 segment LED display?

I'm sure there are many additional question to come, but these will address the current ones.

Thanks!

Sorry about the slow response-

1. Definitely, you'll need to solder a connection into the 0.1" header on the processor board or proto board
2. If you're planning to hook it up using about ~12 IO pins, that can definitely be soldered to one of our proto boards.

Thanks for the response.  Finally got the chance to see a Tinyduino in person this week.
Will continue my research and see if it represents the direction I want to go.
Thanks, again!
