Title: Help Needed with Tiny Video Player Video Format
Post by: Caludaj on August 07, 2025, 08:18:23 PM
I am running a MacBook with Sonoma 14.6.1 OS and have successfully converted videos for both the Tiny TV 2 and the Tiny TV MINI using the Tiny TV Converter App..

I am now trying to play videos with sound on the Tiny Video Player which apparently uses .TSV Format.

I tried using the TSV Converter that I downloaded from this website but it will not open even after the Mac gives it permission..

Can someone help me get videos converted to the right format so that I can play them on the Tiny Video Player?

I tried using an online converter but all it did was convert the mp4 file into a text file that was only 43 Bytes in size so definitely not a video.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Joe

I ran into the same issue when I first tried using the Tiny Video Player. The TSV Converter app wouldn't open on my Mac either, even with permissions granted. What worked for me was using the official TinyCircuits support page—they have an updated converter tool that's compatible with Sonoma. Once I re-downloaded it directly from their site and converted my MP4 files, the TSV videos played fine with both picture and sound.
