The easiest option is to get a tinyscreen+ with a screen + buttons + battery support and a Sensor

They use the same SCLK and MOSI pins

no but i have heard about https://easyeda.com/order and it seems to be rather good but if you dont like the quality for 10 small boards its $2 so its not a big waste of money if you dont like the quality #not sponsored#

Well it depends if you are good at the wave library and can handle a few extra expenses I recommend the audio tinyshield
because you can just plug in headphones and it has a onboard volume control but if you are good at analog signals than use the proto board method because of how inexpensive it is

well you could read from the txt file and do display.print(textFile);

Have you figured it out by now? I'm not an expert of the tiny arcade but I'm making an rpg game with a set of files to keep track of the high score and posting them online with the wifi tiny shield

I've seen people add speakers with a proto board but you could also use the audio tinyshield

(the one that says menu) but it displays like a slide show so if your able to get it to work better please let me know

New Product Ideas / Video processor board for faster tsv video rendering
« on: December 16, 2017, 10:08:21 AM »
one thing I would really like is a way to improve the quality of videos on the tinyscreen/tinyscreen+
Maybe more ram or a powerful chip just for video rendering, I know that you might need a bigger battery or to keep it plugged in and it will most likely be expensive but I think a way to make your tinyscreen/tinyscreen+ more powerful is worth it

General Discussion / Error With Audio tinyshield library
« on: October 05, 2017, 06:13:57 PM »
I tried running the audio tinyshield library and it requires a file that isn't there, this is most likely a noob mistake but I can't get it to work
Error:
Arduino: 1.8.5 (Windows Store 1.8.10.0) (Windows 10), Board: "TinyScreen+, Default"

In file included from C:\#####\###\#########\Arduino\libraries\WaveHC\WaveHC.cpp:15:0:

C:\#####\###\#######\Arduino\libraries\WaveHC/mcpDac.h:26:20: fatal error: avr/io.h: No such file or directory

 #include <avr/io.h>

compilation terminated.

exit status 1
Error compiling for board TinyScreen+.

This report would have more information with
"Show verbose output during compilation"
option enabled in File -> Preferences.

General Discussion / Movie player with Tinyscreen+
« on: October 04, 2017, 05:33:02 PM »
I was wondering if you could play movies with the Tinyscreen+ because I've tried and failed badly
theres just static. Is it possible to play full blown movies on a tinyscreen+ because I see people say that tinyscreens can be mini movie players. Is there any settings or converters that I have to do minus the tsv converter?
Thanks

Edit: I got it working I just need a way to speed it up
