Title: MISO, MOSI and SCK signals, which shields
Post by: eng_r_baddour on August 18, 2014, 08:28:21 AM
Hello all,
I am trying to build sensor network using Tinyduino + GY-80 IMU(10DOF) + nRF24L01.
my problem is that i don't want to use TinyShield Proto1 board, instead i would like to use either the Proto2 or Proto3.
As the nRF24L01 uses MISO, MOSI and SCK signals, I could not locate them neither on the Proto2 nor Proto3 shields.
My question here is: does these signals exist on the Proto2 or Proto3 ? and if yes, what are the corresponding pins?

thanks in advance

Even if we use nRF24 module with proto board 1 ... does it have CSN and CE pins ?? Is it possible to use nRF24 with tinyDuino using Protoboard 1 ???

MISO, MOSI, SCK are only available on Proto1 or on the Proto Terminal Block board (which can be used without the terminal blocks if size is an issue.

CSN and CE can be connected to any digital output, so you can definitely hook this up using Proto1.

Thanks,
