Title: TinyShield to MicroSD Cable
Post by: Doppelganger on March 07, 2021, 10:25:59 PM
Good Day,
Is there a cable available that would allow me to CONNECT the TinySHield to the MicroSD BOARD? I am working a project that has limited space and when the shield and Micro are connected together, they are too thick so I would like to separate them by cable connection and this would allow the space I need. The Micro Shield is just a bit too bulky when the SD board is attached. Please let me know if this option is available and where could I purchase it.

Thanks in Advance for any and all help.

Hello,

The Ribbon Cable Extender is probably the best bet for a quick solution: https://tinycircuits.com/collections/proto-boards/products/tinyshield-ribbon-cable-extender

Otherwise, you can do some soldering with two Proto Board TinyShields, but this option would require some time and technical skill: https://tinycircuits.com/collections/proto-boards/products/proto-board-tinyshield

I hope that helps!

Outstanding! Thanks again for the quick reply. I saw this on-line but was not sure if that would work. Already ordered! Thanks
