Title: Duel Motor TinyShield Schematic Issue
Post by: jgavlik on October 03, 2020, 12:37:37 PM
I believe that the schematic for the dual motor tinyshield is incorrect...looks like the sensor board schematic, instead.  Go here and click on schematic to confirm.  Thanks....john

Looks like the entire "download" section is mistaken, as well.

And, yes, it's Dual (not Duel) Motor TinyShield...jg

John,

It looks like some recent updates went wrong on this page. I will fix them up today.

Thanks for the catch and letting us know!

Rena,

Thanks for the fix!

Question....do mating connectors with wires exist so that one can connect (plug in) a DC motor to the board (and solder the wire ends to the motor_?

John,

We do have 2-pin JST cables that you could solder onto a motor to use with the Dual Motor TinyShield: https://tinycircuits.com/collections/cables-connectors/products/jst-sh-2-pin-connector

We also have 3-pin JST cables for servos if you were interested in those as well: https://tinycircuits.com/collections/cables-connectors/products/3-pin-jst-sh-pigtail-100mm

Hope that helps!
