I followed the steps contained in: https://tinycircuits.com/blogs/learn/bluetooth-low-energy-tinyshield-st-tutorial
Sadly there is no signal being transmitted. I was able to get the signal test to work however.

Sorry make that blink test. It's like the module is able to take the code but it's not showing up on the serial console in the IDE.

It gets to the upload portion so I'm really not getting it. This is my first arduino device.

So, what are you doing to verify that no signal is being transmitted? And, could you clarify what you mean by getting the signal test to work? Bluetooth can be a little tricky, and it has as much to do with what you are doing with the other device you are using to connect to your TinyDuino.
