Title: Merging Video sketch for TS+ with Video Menu sketch for TS?
Post by: Chiff on August 23, 2017, 03:20:42 PM
Hi folks,

Serious noob here just wondering how to go about merging two of the example sketches:
- The Video Menu sketch for the TinyScreen (https://codebender.cc/sketch:87535#TinyScreen_Video_Menu.ino)
- The Video Playback sketch for the TinyScreen+ (https://tinycircuits.com/blogs/learn/tsv-video-converter-tutorial) (DL link halfway down article)

For usage on a TS+ with SD Shield - so as to be able to use the menu to select and play TSV videos.

I get how coding roughly works enough to tinker, but can't get my head around what a lot of these functions are actually doing, as there seems to be a huge difference between how each sketch plays a TSV file.

Not going to be a complete waste of space with this first post, thought you should know that when trying to figure out how to reduce excessive jaggies in low res video, I worked out that applying a blur filter before reducing the resolution works wonders! I'm not exaggerating when I say that it makes 96x64 viable for watching a movie!
