Title: Ideas for the Tiny Arcade
Post by: Fatmeatball on April 14, 2017, 06:21:45 PM
If this is OK, then this thread can be where users can post ideas for games and such.

Some ideas from me:
Battery level indicator in the menu (where you select games)

Berzerk-like game (or just a clone of berzerk, it doesn't matter)
Tiny-Man (pac-man game, i'm bad with names)

In addition to tiny-man there should be tiny snake! Eventually most of the classic arcade games should be created. I'm definitely looking forward to writing my own. In a different thread I posted the possibility of new sticker skin designs for the arcade. And the capability of the TinyArcade to keep record of the player's high-scores would be really nice!

I had some free time this weekend, so I took a stab at simple implementations of a couple of classic games.  The source & binaries (suitable for SD card loading) for "TinySNAKE" & "TinySimon" (no title screen video yet for either, but they do still show up in the initial menu system) can be found in their respective folders under the "PocketArcade projects" folder in my Google drive at the following URL: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Pv0LDGhe3uLNJvhF7-aSdTOSZMYe8hbx

Enjoy !!

Updated versions are now available at the link described earlier.  The new versions include Ben Rose's recommendation for fixing the inconsistent volume when calling tone().
