Title: Tiny arcade stuck in bootloader mode
Post by: CathyL on February 23, 2017, 02:31:28 PM
Help please!

Built the tiny arcade with my son and it was working great.  Purchased the SD card with the arcade through tiny circuits and inserted it at the time we built it.  There were no problems until he charged the arcade and now it is in bootloader mode and we can't seem to exit it.

Thanks
Cathy

Hi Cathy, thanks for the explaining the situation. Can you let me know if the USB was plugged into a wall adapter or computer? We've only heard of this happening a few times and have not been able to trace down the issue. It does not seem to be recurring. The main board does need the menu reloaded through the Arduino IDE, we have instructions for updating/reloading at https://tinycircuits.com/blogs/learn/171319495-tiny-arcade-menu-update if you'd like to try. If not, we can send a replacement main board, please send an email to info@tinycircuits.com for that.

Thanks,
Ben

It was plugged in to a wall outlet.  I will send an email regarding the main board.

Thanks Ben
