Title: BLACK LINE ACROSS DISPLAY / COMPILING ERRORS
Post by: davecobb on August 08, 2016, 04:16:41 PM
My Tiny Arcade just arrived, but there is a prominent black line across the display.

I tried connecting it to my Mac via USB and followed the Arduino instructions for setup to see if that might fix it; I downloaded the "TinyScreenBasicExample" and successfully got it to upload to the unit, but can't seem to load the latest Menu or Games, which give me errors upon compiling (so it's now stuck on the Basic Example loop).

Definitely a damaged display- Ken will respond to your support email. Can you let me know what operating system and Arduino version you're using? The code was originally compiled with Arduino 1.6.8 running in Windows 7.

Thanks,
Ben

Thanks- definitely an issue with 1.6.10, I'll post a solution in the thread by Sam.
