Title: Accelerometer always sendback -1
Post by: max_fecto on November 17, 2015, 10:07:16 PM
Hi,

I use the online tutorial for the BMA250 accelerometer and it seems like it doesn't work. The X,Y,Z and temperature value are of -1.

I followed the exact procedure that is describe on this website. Can it be broken ? is there a way to verify the integrity of the chips ?

Thanks

SAME exact problem. Would have been REALLY nice if instead of helping through a PM you posted something so I'm not sitting here seeing a solution is there, but for some reason, was sent in a private PM.

In this case the customer decided to email me privately, so I kept his issue private- sorry about that. For future reference, the BMA250 software returning -1 is a completely generic error and can be caused by almost any I2C communication failure.
