Title: Streaming Live Video to Tiny Screen
Post by: cdoody on August 13, 2015, 11:22:04 AM
I have a project where i would like to stream the video from a tiny video camera directly to the tiny screen.  Hard wiring, rather than wireless interface would be fine.  Wondering what frame rate would be possible even with reduced resolution.  Important to see video on screen in relatively real time (a one second delay may be ok)..  Not sure if this is feasible or not..  Thanks

It may be possible, alot depends on the interface to the camera.  We have an example on the Hackster page showing how to display video from a microSD card to the TinyScreen:

The problem will be that you'll likely have to manipulate the data from the video camera before sending it to the screen, which will slow things down.

Thanks,
