Title: TinyDuino WIFI shield issue
Post by: hmf on May 29, 2015, 06:17:58 PM
Hi,

I recently got a Tinyduino WiFi shield and I try to use Adafruit 3300 library to build my project. However, I got the following problems.

1. The buildtest of Adafruit does not work for me. I describe the details in the post:
https://forums.adafruit.com/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=74447

2. I tried to build a project like this one:
https://www.openhomeautomation.net/tiny-wifi-temperature-arduino/

I used the exact same code but it does not work. I describe the details in the post:
https://forums.adafruit.com/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=74453

I suspect there is something wrong with the WiFi shield.
Thanks!

Made any progress on this? One suggestion I have is seeing if a different firmware version works better- the Adafruit library includes code to change versions. Sometimes different firmware is 'happier' with different access points, servers, etc. Just make sure you change the pin definitions in their examples.
